Water regulations have shifted so dramatically and quickly over the last decade that this Rainwater Harvesting Manual was outdated just as it was to be published. Even so, it is an honor to have written a comprehensive rainwater harvesting manual for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC).

Achievements:

1.

A comprehensive manual detailing San Francisco’s unique microclimates, water history, and water conservation strategies promoted by the City, along with permitting processes and resources.

2.

Marking a moment in time within a fast changing movement of state code updates, regulatory integration, and overall encouragement for on-site water conservation, harvesting, and reuse strategies.

3.

Working with an incredibly knowledgable and experienced team at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and Water Resources Engineering, Inc.
