Team Highlights

BW Environmental Planning

This lightweight living roof is suitable for most surfaces. A thin stratospere of soil is enough to nourish naturally fire-resistant native succulents. Low-key with DIY elements make this an accessible style for beginner workshops.

Achievements:

1.

Decreasing stormwater runoff while increasing roof insulation, fire protection, and pollinator habitat

2.

Becoming a neighborhood role model of small-scale, decentralized impact-strategies neighbors can integrate into their own homes

3.

Creating opportunity for daily mindfulness and joy in water conservation each time the living roof is seen
